It’s a busy week in kitchens… don’t work so hard. Or, at the very least, try to relax with a nice muffin after all the holiday cooking is done!
Beer Bisquick Muffins recipe:
3 C. Bisquick
5 Tbsp. sugar
10 oz. beer
Found in an independent spiral-bound cookbook, “Chapter SL Cooks.” Palma Hyland has a couple of other recipes in it that speak straight to my heart: “Ham and Cheese Rollups” and “Crabby Eggs.” Good stuff. I bet those beer muffins are going to go great with leftover ham…

Looks like the Darrell Bevell, the offensive coordinator for Seattle (for now…) could have used an in-game snack before making that play call. All he had to do was let Marshawn Lynch run the ball three times and the Seahawks would have won the Super Bowl. Oh well. Maybe next time Marshawn will share his Skittles.
