Gratelifter Grill Gets Grillers Going

Portable grills are imprecise beasts: charcoal gets dumped in, and maybe or maybe not it will be enough fuel to feed a crowd. As the procession of burgers, steaks and chicken come off the grill and make their way into hungry hands, the charcoal burns down and grillers try to squeeze every last bit of heat out of the coals. Because nobody wants to get all grimy lifting up the greasy grill grate to add more charcoal.
Featuring an integrated mechanism that does the lifting for you, the Cuisinart GrateLifter Portable Charcoal Grill keeps the food party going. When engaged, the grill grate couples to the lid, allowing for both to rise in one easy motion. Just add more charcoal, and get those grilled goodies going again.

Because All Food On The Grill Should Say Cuisinart

As a cooking option, grilling cannot be beat; if you can cook it, chances are, you can grill it. However, that open flame dancing just under the grill grates requires a slightly different approach than when cooking in the kitchen. For small foods like shrimp, or delicate items like practically every fish, some type of a guard to place over the grill grates makes the process easier. (Not to mention saving foods from falling into the flames.) The Cuisinart Stainless-Steel Grilling Platter offers 13-inches by 8-inches of grilling surface, perforated for complete heat penetration. And if you’re a fan of the brand Cuisinart, well it looks like no matter what you happen to be grilling, the one on the middle is yours.

Lost In Time With A Programmable Fork

Forks, by and large, are easy to operate, so by that thinking they must be due for a makeover. As fork-users have had it far too easy for far too long, it’s about time they were presented with something of a challenge.
Designed for use on the grill as a thermometer and a timer, the Cuisinart Programmable Digital Temperature Fork takes the guesswork out of grilling meats, poultry and seafood. (Assuming of course one has learned how to use it.) Set the temperature or desired doneness level and let the timer do all the heavy lifting. (Of numbers, that its—the fork still has to do the real lifting.) As for the forkophobes technophobes out there, used to the blinking 12:00 lifestyle, the fork may have a timer, but a clock is not incorporated!

Burgers In A Grill Basket?

Okay, enough. Grill baskets are great, but when we start making them for hamburgers, well then that’s when it has gone too far. There are those grill grates sitting there after all. Usually. Most of the time. Not always when camping, I guess. Or at a bonfire. And those grates at the park can be kind of nasty, I suppose… All right, you win Cuisinart Hamburger Basket, I take it back. You can exist. Even if it’s just to show that more than just hot dogs and marshmallows can be held over a campfire.

Spring Has Sprung, Time For Ice Cream

It has been hot in California this week—ice cream weather! Time to break out the ice cream machines. It seems as if it were only yesterday that every day was a rainy day. (Not that there’s anything wrong with ice cream in the rain.) Taking a bright and colorful approach, like the weekend outlook ahead, the Cuisinart Classic Frozen Yogurt, Ice Cream & Sorbet Makers offer easy accessibility to homemade frozen treats.
The automatic maker requires no chemicals, salt or ice while the double-insulated removable freezer bowl helps to whip up a 1.5-quart batch of your favorite flavor within minutes—good news for those caught off guard by the warm weather. As for areas with weather still stuck in the ice age? Best to plan ahead, as spring has sprung. (Or is at least in the process of springing!)
On sale right now for $49.95.

Making coffee making as easy as can be

Making coffee couldn’t be made any easier. Heck, it would take more effort to crawl down to your local caffeinating hole than to use this coffee maker. The Cuisinart Grind and Brew Coffee Maker is a perfect solution for those that enjoy freshly ground brewed coffee first thing in the morning. Having some experience with groggy coffee making, I can assuredly say that the relatively easy process of brewing coffee is not so easy without the help of coffee. It’s like a Möbius strip or the chicken-or-the-egg paradox: to make coffee one must have coffee. Or at least in my case. Needless to say, mornings are not so pretty around these parts.
With a 24-hour programmable timer included on this coffee maker, all morning mishaps can be avoided. Complete with an integrated burr grinder in the set up, mornings can be accident free and delicious. Other features included on this miracle machine include a charcoal water filter and a gold-tone permanent filter. Oh, and at the end of the day, when you are delightfully caffeinated? As a final nod to the forgetful and the occasionally inept, this coffee maker includes an automatic shut-off.
