The RSVP Shuck Deluxe Corn Stripper removes kernels from corn on the cob without making a mess. Comprised of a cylindrical tube and a plunger type device, the corn gadget eliminates “wayward kernels and corn juice splatters” as the results are collected in the bottom of the tube. As for shucking the corn in the first place? Well, word on the street (and by street I mean farm) is that a few minutes in the microwave will do the trick.

Twist to grind. That’s the idea behind the RSVP Hazel Nut Grinder. The cute grinder gadget is shaped like a little squirrel with the tail operating as the handle. It is made out of cast aluminum, so this little gizmo should make it through many winters to come.
Hazel loves to grind nuts for all your cooking and baking needs. Simple lift of the acorn lid and fill the acorn hopper with shelled nuts such as pecans, walnuts, almonds and peanuts. Grab hold of her fat tail and rotate clockwise to coarsely chop the exact amount of nuts you need. The ground nuts will fall into the glass jar below which has an 8 oz. capacity and features measurements in cups and millimeters. Hazel’s body is made of cast aluminum with a strong steel grinding mechanism inside. Hazel can be washed in mild soap and water and cleaned with a soft brush or sponge, but alas Hazel is leery of dishwashers and she just can’t go there! The glass jar though is dishwasher safe.

Fruit on the loose no more. The RSVP Fruit Chute not only keeps oranges organized, but does so with elegant chromed steel style. Perfect for those that like to keep an eye on their oranges (and know what order they are going to eat them in).

Sometimes all you want is one egg. Even the fast food joints haven’t (yet…?) invented the Double Egg McMuffin. There’s a reason Mother Nature made the egg a perfectly reasonable single sized serving. I don’t know what that reason would be as you can’t really make an omelet out of just one egg, but so be it; sometimes one egg at a time is OK.

Olives are great and all, but there is no reason why we can’t make them greater. As we all know, adding one food item to another only makes for a greater food item. Any items that have been wrapped in bacon or dipped in peanut butter are both good examples. Well bacon and peanut butter may be the kings of combination, but that doesn’t mean the little ol’ olive can’t get its due.

Coffee making in the morning needs to be as simple as can be. What later in the day is easy to accomplish is not so when just out of bed. Even eliminating one step in the coffee-making ritual can keep morning mishaps at bay. The path of destruction caused by stumbling from the freezer for the coffee and then to the faucet for water, and then to the cupboard for the box of filters can be reduced by simply leaving the filters out by the coffeemaker.
However those little filter boxes can be ugly, all open and hanging out like that. Pass on the cardboard decoration and move on up to wood. The RSVP International Bamboo Coffee Cone Filter Holder is small, made from an eco-friendly material, and streamlines those foggy mornings. At $9.99 it’s a small price to pay for a little morning clarity.
